Years ago the Scottsdale, Arizona community envisioned setting aside one-third of the City as open space through the creation of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Scottsdale has successfully created the largest urban Preserve in the nation, a significant area of natural wildlife and desert flora, with more than 100 miles of trails in the Preserve open to hikers, bicyclists and equestrians. Larry's exhibition opened on Saturday, October 28th, 2006, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mayor Manross and members of the Council of the City of Scottsdale attended the opening event. They joined the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy Preserve Volunteers in celebrating the culmination of McDowell Sonoran Preserve Month. This exhibit ran through November 13, 2006. The paintings below are part of that 24 painting Sold Out exhibit. Click on the link to view all the paintings.
